The evening will start at 7 p.m., with a warm welcome, a glass of bubbles, you can see a preview of the tombola items, meet Rotary members and other guests, and walk around in the beautiful Africa palace and Orangerie.
For those with the "full experience" ticket, dinner will be served to you at your table. A full range of drinks will be available to purchase. After the dinner, a dance floor will be created, and "The Slampampers", a three-piece professional party band comprising drums, double bass, saxophone and lots of close-harmony singing will entertain with their hilarious (jazz)music-comedy show based on, and inspired by music from the 40ties/50ties....jumpin’jive and lots of unique modern stuff.
This will get everyone in the mood for an evening of dancing while the tombola to support our charitable causes - this year's main project isSamana VZW - will run in the background. This year, we have a rich selection of prizes, thanks to our many sponsors from the Tervuren area and beyond! ... it will be a night to remember!
Despite the global trend of rising prices, the basic "full experience" ticket has been held to €99! This price will, however, just cover the cost of the event and so, if you can, you are invited to sign up using the "full experience+donation" ticket option instead. These cost €109 - or more if you wish. It is also possible to join after the dinner, at 10 p.m. for the dance party only. For this, tickets are available at €45. The tombola will still be active and the dance party will run until late.
Dress code for the evening: Casual smart / Black tie / Evening dress.
... but everything should have a touch of "squares" or "stripes"! Ladies can go short or long. Think ‘roaring twenties’, disco, modern fancy ...
